Dan Schaeffer

DAN SCHAEFFER was an author and pastor in Southern California for over 20 years, beginning Foothills Evangelical Free Church, and writing five books. Several years ago, feeling called into a full time Christian writing ministry, he moved to Solvang, California and began his new ministry of writing and speaking. While helping to fill a pulpit at a church in Santa Barbara, the Holy Spirit led Dan and the church to enter into a unique arrangement. Dan writes several days a week and then is co-pastor of Shoreline Community Church in Santa Barbara several days a a week. This allows Dan to enjoy both his passion and calling to write and his passion to preach and encourage Christians!
