Several Ohio stores experienced a taste of White Christmas Pie this fall when bestselling Amish Fiction author Wanda E. Brunstetter visited to sign copies of her newest stand-alone Christmas novel. Some store employees celebrated the book signings by decorating their stores with holiday cheer and by making actual White Christmas Pies from the recipe included in the back of Wanda’s book.

At the signings, Brunstetter was on hand to mingle with guests and sign copies of all her books, including White Christmas Pie, A Sister’s Hope, her children's books in the Rachel Yoder—Always Trouble Somewhere series, her Amish cookbook, and the gift edition of her Amish Country devotional, The Simple Life. Brunstetter's Ohio book signing tour included visits to Walnut Creek Cheese (Walnut Creek), Dayspring Christian Store (New Philadelphia), the Gospel Book Store (Berlin), the Buckeye Book Fair (Wooster), Life Change Bookstore (New Philadelphia), the Gospel Shop (Sugarcreek), the New Philadelphia First United Methodist Church, and the Berean Christian Store (Canton).

Nationally recognized as an expert on the Amish community, Brunstetter has seen her book sales rise to almost three million. This year, A Sister’s Hope, the final book in her Sisters of Holmes County series, topped the August and September 2008 Publishers Weekly Paperback Religion Bestsellers lists. Her book Allison’s Journey was listed on the Publishers Weekly Paperback Religion Bestsellers list in July 2008. Her books have also received other honors, including the 2006 Reader's Choice Award and the CBD Book of the Week. Brunstetter enjoys an uncommon kinship with the Amish and loves to visit their communities throughout the country.

Brunstetter enjoys writing about the Amish because they live a peaceful, simple life-something she says we all need in this day and age. Wanda and her husband are members of the Fellowship of Christian Magicians. Wanda is also a member of the North American Association of Ventriloquists, American Christian Fiction Writers, and the Northwest Christian Writers Association.
